Portfolios > Drawings

While Dan works primarily in pen & ink, he also works using charcoal, graphite, and pigment dusting. His drawings tend to exhibit the more fantastical and narrative elements of his work.

Dan also enjoys figure drawing and portraiture, and is always on the lookout for subjects and groups. Dan feels that drawing portraiture and the figure is necessary for any 2D artist as it is valuable in training an artist how to see and draw things for more than what they are and less than what they are. It is also beneficial for both abstract seeing, realistic practice, and the conceptual process.
